About Me
My name is Vasiliki Karakatsani, or, as most people call me – Vivi. I was born and raised in Thessalonica, Greece and until this day I live and work in my beautiful city.
I studied drawing with the help of some of the finest painters in Greece. I first discovered my passion for painting at a very young age, and throughout the years, have become a partly self taught painter. I was guided mainly by the sometimes bright, sometimes gloomy colors of nature and the variety of emotions that life brings upon one’s self.
Throughout the years, I have held many exhibitions in Greece and abroad. More specifically, I held exhibitions in Thessalonica, Athens, Rhodes and Chalkidiki.
Abroad my exhibitions were held in Germany, Belgium, Jordan and Austria.
In conclusion, I take my work very seriously and seek to satisfy my own and more importantly, the needs of my customers.

About Painting
For all my paintings I use oil on canvas as primary material. I enjoy freedom in my creations therefore, my subjects and technique may vary. I would paint anything that might catch my attention from a flower or a cloud to some feelings or thoughts.
This season I m starting a new exhibition and the main subject is going to be the Macrocosm
