I have been painting for more than 35 years. i have degrees in fine arts and sculpture. I became an artist after viewing a show of The Fauves in 1974 i realized this was the most beautiful thing I had ever seen and that I my search for a life fulfilling profession was over. I began the studies of art and have continued painting and figurative drawing since then.

My work reflects the concepts of modernism with a current or post modern eye. I attempt to create a recoqnizable image within an abstract colorist framework. I use high quality sennelier or old amsterdam oil paints with a wax linseed oil medium to achieve the quality of color I require. Each painting is unique with no repeats or redoes.
