I am sure that is where the seed was planted for me.I have been happy doing the pieces on this site and looking at all the different ways people talk to each other through art. I am so glad I can show the world my art and knowing that some of my pieces will travel around the world is a great feeling. I am a 45 year old Hispanic artist born and raised here under the sun of Tucson. I enjoy the desert and all the mountains that surround us here. Hiking and seeing some of the painted rocks first hand is one of the most rewarding things I get doing my art. I am hoping while visiting and viewing the art that you enjoy it and come away with a warm feeling.

What follows is just a sample of what I have done in the past few years . Ancient rock paintings, gothlic and Egyptian images are just a few of the sources that inspire the work. Unique compared to other papermaking techniques I strive to push beyond the typical applications for papermaking and casting. Recycled paper is molded to create paper sculptures using a multi-component mold system. All of these original pieces are made from recycled paper. Each was hand pressed and painted. By doing this it gives the pieces a worn leather, parchment look.
