About Me
My name is Dorota Polland. I’m a polish artist living in Germany, Berlin.
1993 I graduated College of Art in Warsaw. Then I studied at the Art Academy, Warsaw, on the faculty of Conservation and Restorations of Works of Art.
2002 I finished my studies and my diploma work with the specialization of Conservation and Restorations of Paintings.
During my studies I worked as an Illustrator in Advertising Agency Nos /BBDO.
2002 I moved to Germany and since 2004 I occupy myself with paintings and illustrations.

About Painting
I always wanted to express myself in art. I suppose I was born with a gift for drawing and painting but It took me a long time to find an own style. Once I discovered Africa, first music, then art. Especially African sculpture fascinated me and started to inspire me in my work.
Mostly I paint with oil, acryl, watercolors. I like to experiment with other techniques, structure paste, golden or silver leafs.
