The purples and yellows of this oil painting create the sense of a fantasy landscape, but one that’s entirely believable. The range of textures in this piece of art is impressive, as each element of the landscape feels decidedly different from the others—the clouds feel wispy, the water has a glass-like feeling, and the mountain feels very solid.

Great painting only thing that came to my eye first was I thought the water infront of the mountain was too dark, almost like a black hole. Maybe would have been nice showing more red and orange than the dark color. Very nice sky.
