This high contrast oil painting captures Jimi Hendrix in a classic pose. Fading much of his figure into the background, only the most important elements are painted, including his face, torso, fingers and guitar. The artist creates a colorful pattern for Hendrix’s shirt and guitar strap, using that as a foil against all the dark colors in this piece of art.
