Description
When you first look at this portrait of a curled up body, you think that it is a woman. In fact, even though the subject has long hair, and none of the front of the torso or middle are exposed, it is the body of a man. We like Feng Wu Sui's painting style, and we also have featured several of his portraits of faces done in a bold brush style, in our gallery. The style used in this painting is all wider short brushstrokes, like a very large version of pointillism. In this painting, he has shown how well he can make that painting style work in a larger portrait of the body.
