Original: This portrait is one of a kind. It's absolutly beautiful. Materials: 50% Cotton, 42% Poly, 8% Flax. Size: 18.25" in height x 19" in width. It has a dark pecan frame w/gold trim. The frame is custom made w/extras. There is an acid free foam core backing, with Spanish White Mating, and Masterpiece Glass. The portrait itself has been dry cleaned and preserved under glass.
Technique: Cross Stitch - 36 stitches per inch in every direction. Condition: Excellent

The colors are bright and brand new. Both the portrait and mating have been preserved from staining. The back has 2 embedded wire assembly's for steel wire, so that it will hang perfectly - these are already attached with wire. There are 2 wall savers attached to the bottom of the frame, so that it won't mar your wall.
This is a professionally done piece, and will give you many years of enjoyment, as well, as increase in its aesthetic value. We have recieved nothing but ooh's and awe's, from everyone who has come in contact with it. The work is initialed by the the artist in the lower right hand corner, and it is numbered and signed on the back. The colors are vibrant in Stevens face and are amazingly accurate. This piece was done with a magnifying glass. It is truly a museum piece.
The portrait itself is not a lithograph, or painted picture, or a reproduction, or sew by the numbers. It is a completely hand stitched original work of art. The only one of it's kind! This is an excellent investment! The artist is tremendously talented. She can hand stitch any portrait. She is now working on John Lennon, Janis Joplin, etc. She plans on doing all the greats. There isn't any artwork like this out there. As she finish's them, they will be displayed here for sale.
