Description

Tokarevsky’s lighthouse founded in 1876 and one of the most ancient beacons of the Far Eastern Seas and Peter the Great Gulf is in the watercolor’s centre. One of the heirs of that Romantic sea epoch.
When watercoloring both homogeneous tone fillings technique and washing-off were used. To create the central object a combination of watercolor techniques, i.e. monochrome underpainting, gradient filling, washing and outlines flattening were applied.
