Description

This is a seascape sunset, the purple and golden clouds obscure most of the sky, but the sun is still shinning through as it makes its way down to the horizon. The Turquoise ocean is slightly reflecting the yellow colors of the sun.

This is a beautifully rendered sunset. The rocks in the foreground help to ground this oil painting in reality; the rest of the painting is very dreamlike. The color is what most emphasizes the dreamy nature of the landscape, but the way the waves are painted also helps to emphasize this, as they are quite stylized.
