In this oil painting, the artist has focused on perspective within the composition. In the foreground, the viewer’s eye follows the paved walkway, lingering on the foliage. Then, the row of seaside buildings intersects the line of the walkway, drawing the viewer’s eye into the distance, where the sea meets the end of the buildings.
