Iam a self-taught artist.I trained myself so it is possible to do what I love. I didn’t get an opportunity to study art in collage,though.I learned some basics in my high school art class.Thats the only training I can say I’ve had.
When young,I was inspired by the great tamil artist’s S.Jayaraj’s drawings in tamil magazines and used to spend my time emulating them.In tenth grade,I won a state-wide art contest and never looked back. My influences are everything I see,feel and experience.

Painting is a way I express my thoughts,my life, & the beauty in my surroundings, and a way to escape to a dream world.I always enjoyed and appreciated all sorts of art. However, oil paintings have been by far the only type of art I am drawn to. I can say it was never a part of my life as it is now.
