Rama Bakthi and Nadhopasana are the two cardinal features of the Music of Saint Thyagaraja. He embodied ethical and philosophical truths in his songs.
His devotion and piety were equaled only by his humility and his integrity. He composed his songs in Telugu. The language has enriched itself by his compositions.
