Three horses jump out of the rock, facing their downfall. They are the symbol of vanity. Feathers whirl through the air, as the vain Ikarus, after several warnings still flies to the sun. The wax of the wings constructed by his father melts. Artemis and Apollo rest satisfied in the background.
